THE Maple Tree. This beauty lives in the Portland Japanese Gardens and is absolutely stunning every fall as the leaves change colors.
One of the most serene lakes in North America, Lake Tahoe is a stunner. As the light of the sun rose over the mountain, with Bansai Rock in the foreground, this pic epitomizes Lake Tahoe perfectly.
This beautiful scene is not Iowa or Kansas. It's actually in Eastern Washington. This beautiful tree stood alone amongst the fields and with the sun pinned against the stump, the rays and shadows were a perfect pairing.
This tire swing offered the perfect sunset setting here on the east side of Lake Tahoe. With tranquil waters, beautiful rocks and a hazy sky, sunset was all you could ask for.
Just the perfect countryside scene, this bridge takes you back years to when life was different. Not sure if you could say life was 'simpler' back then, nor easier. But this bridge surely takes you back to the past...
Third time is a charm! I wasn't happy with the first couple early sunrises so ventured again. This time I won - love the fresh snow, Emerald Bay and that sky!
These cute cubs were playing in the trees while mom anxiously watched and grazed down below. Their cute faces were incredible to watch and the interaction was as playful as you'd suspect.
Just north of Anchorage sits Reflections Lake. It offered me the perfect viewpoint for a sunrise shot. What's even better is I didn't freeze to death and I wasn't eaten by a bear in getting this panorama.
